Founder & Director, Sophie Hussey
With nearly 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Sophie Hussey has carved a niche as a transformative leader in IT Service Management and strategic consultancy. Her journey began in technical roles, evolving into leadership positions where she honed her expertise in service management, strategy development, and operating model design. In 2021, Sophie founded Lapis Consulting Services Ltd, a consultancy dedicated to empowering organisations through pragmatic, people-centric solutions.
Sophie's approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a commitment to delivering tangible value. As an ITIL® 4 Managing Professional and active ISO committee member, she ensures her clients benefit from industry best practices tailored to their unique contexts. Her consultancy services encompass IT strategy, leadership development, service value chain optimisation, and organisational change management.
Beyond her consultancy work, Sophie is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in tech. She serves as a mentor in Reed Technology’s Women in Technology programme and is a STEM Ambassador, inspiring the next generation of tech professionals. Her contributions to the field have been recognised with multiple nominations for the Women in Tech Excellence Awards.
